Little Chiang Mai เป็นหนังสือชุด 5 เล่ม (เส้นทางปั่น เส้นทางวิ่ง ที่กิน ร้านหนังสือ มิวเซียม) ที่เริ่มต้นทำงานบนโจทย์คำถามของงานวิจัยที่ว่า “หนังสือท่องเที่ยวที่เป็นกระดาษยังทำงานอยู่ไหมในโลกสมัยใหม่ที่คนส่วนใหญ่หันไปพึ่งพาข้อมูลในโลกออนไลน์กันแล้ว” การออกแบบหนังสือชุดนี้จึงพยายามแสดงศักยภาพเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ของกระดาษที่งานออนไลน์ทำไม่ได้เพื่อขับเน้นเนื้อหาของแต่ละเล่มที่ไม่เหมือนกัน ทั้งหน้าพับ ใส่ลิ้น เจาะช่องไดคัท ปล่อยขอบแบ่งระดับ กระทั่งเป็นแผ่นปลิวติดโปสการ์ดให้ดึงออกได้ รวมถึงวิธีการเข้าเล่มที่พยายามเลือกให้หลากหลาย ทั้งเย็บมุง ใสกี่ เจาะหมุด เพื่อให้ผู้อ่านสัมผัสกับประสบการณ์อ่านไกด์บุ๊คอีกแบบที่ต้องใช้เวลาอยู่กับมันนานขึ้น

Little Chiang Man is a set of 5 little books (cycling routes, running routes, restaurants, cafe and street food, book stores and second hand book stores and museums) The beginning of this project deals with the research question “Does a paper guide book still work for social media society where most of people rely on for information search?’  The design for this book set tries to show potential of paper-made books that online sources cannot do better than. We use the folding method, paper fastener, die cutting, flying postcard and various techniques of bookbinding such as saddle stitched, perfect bound and punching. All these techniques create new experiences for readers to spend more time on reading.
